Please do not plan to rent and violate the occupancy limits. You will be asked to leave the property without a refund if more than the limits are in the condo. It is strictly enforced by the condo association. **Cancellations due to Emergency or extenuating circumstances** No refunds will be given for emergencies, illness, extenuating circumstances or storms. Renters must obtain travel insurance to protect themselves. Parking -One parking space reserved in Pelican Cove plus a Dewey beach parking permit ( the dewey parking pass is only needed and available May 15th to September 15th.) Pets • We are pet-friendly but do charge an extra fee so make sure to select you are bringing a pet. • Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in the forfeiture of your entire deposit. Please respect this rule. Linens: Linens (sheets and towels) are now provided by a linen service. Both will be dropped off in advance of your arrival. Guests are responsible for making the beds and placing the dirty linens in the provided bag at departure. Failure to strip the linens and put the towels in the bag is a $75 fee. Boat Slip You have access to one boat slip on the dock for your exclusive use. The closest boat launch is Pier Point Marina, at the end of Rodney St., one street south from us…. $10 buys a round trip in/out use of the boat ramp. About the unit: We rent the condo 75% of the time and use it for our family the other 25%. We leave personal items in the unit but have them organized so that renters are not impacted. About Pelican Cove Pelican Cove is a small private condo complex. There are seven units. All units have access to the private beach. It is rare that all seven units are occupied at the same time. Each unit has one boat slip on the dock. From mid-November to mid-March, only our unit and two others are operational. It is truly a peaceful and quiet getaway.
Other Details to Note
This is an adult and family condo. It is not meant for loud parties or large groups. The condo is on the first floor there is another unit above us. There is the possibility of noise, but it is not disruptive. The upstairs bedrooms are above us not the living space. Emergency or extenuating circumstances: No refunds will be given for Emergency, illness, extenuating circumstances, or storms. We require renters to obtain travel insurance to protect themselves from such matters. The ceiling in the kitchen is slightly lower at 7'5''.
